Staff Parking Closed Next Week (Oct.15-19)

Due to the construction of the Bioswale, the staff parking lot will be closed the week of October 15th - 19th. Parking will still be available on the edges of the playground. We will have these areas taped off and Marcia and I will on the playground before and after school to help direct traffic.

If you are available to help with traffic on Monday or Tuesday please contact Kathleen in the main office.

This Bioswale is a very worthy project in support of a cleaner environment and positively shaping our community's footprint. Thank you for your support.

Meth is REALLY Bad (please talk to your kids)

Attention MLC Parents and Community Members,

Tomorrow evening, October 9th at 7:30 pm, there will be a documentary about Meth use in Oregon. This 30 minute documentary is called Crystal Darkness. The hope with the campaign is to reach out to people struggling with addiction, as well as to start a prevention discussion in communities. Since most local TV stations will air the program, families with young children should be advised and those with teens are encouraged to watch and discuss it together.
