Author Visit Friday October 6th!

We are thrilled to announce that 4x8 students will be meeting with Newbery Honor winning author Jennifer Holm on Friday, October 6th. She will be discussing her new book, "Penny From Heaven", as well as reflecting on writing and reading, and answering students' questions. Holm has written many books, from historical fiction to graphic novels. View descriptions of all of her books by clicking here! Students will have the opportunity to pre-order any of her titles so that they can get their books autographed by the author during her morning with our community. Please look for order sheets which will come home with students soon! The MLC library also has copies of all of her books, so feel free to stop in, relax in one of our comfy armchairs, and browse a copy of each book. Also, feel free to check out her websites: www.jenniferholm.com, www.babymouse.com, and www.stinkfiles.com.

And feel free to comment on this blog page, too! It's our very first one! :-)
