The MLC PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association) is an active and integral part of the MLC community. Our main functions are to build community and raise money. The current PTSA Board has been doing some work regarding what it is we do and why we do it. We have developed a sort of mission statement that has been our guiding principle as we developed the proposed budget for this new school year. It is still a work in progress but so far it goes like this:

Any opportunity available at MLC should be available to any child at MLC regardless of their family's ability to pay. That being said, we remain the stewards of these fundraised dollars and will spend it in a way that benefits the greatest number of children.
